  5. The Chainware Demographics module adds functionality to the Point-of-Sale
  6. module, providing powerful demographic data collection based on user-defined
  7. criteria.  At the point of sale, cashiers are prompted upon completion of ease
  8. transaction to ask for and enter demographic data.  This data is compiled to
  9. product reports comparing total sales, discounts, promotional sales, store
  10. coupons, customer count, and other sales indicators by demographic cede.  This
  11. data can be used to analyze, plan for, and evaluate the effectiveness of
  12. advertising and promotional campaigns and other direct marketing tools.
